Spending attribute points and fashioning materials
It says in my skills that I have 75 unused attribute points. And I can apply them to different attributes, like Illusion Magic. What is the propose of this?
Also, I fashioned 10 Iron ignots and a lump of coal. So what good is it and how do I apply it? I would like to improve my bow and magic powers, so can these things I mention above help me? |

Basically the attributes make skills of that attribute better as you increase them (the yellow number change). So you really should spend as many of them as you can. If you spend them in the wrong place its not a problem, as your free to change them around in towns. Runes also improve attributes.
As for the iron and coal, hold onto it or sell it to the crafting/rare material traders. When you want to craft new weapons and armors they need specific materials, so thats when you go buy the ones you don't have. Unless you need one though, don't buy it. |

Attribute points can be spent on attributes. This will improve skills linked ot that attribute.
For example: If you put attribute points into illusion magic, your illusion magic spells will improve (doing more damage, lasting longer; stuff like that). Any green number in a skill's description can be improved by raising that skill's linked attribute. You can also redistribute your attribute points while in towns or outposts. So if you spend a lot of attribute points on illusion magic and then change your mind later, you can unspend them and put them into a different attribute. |
